IS BLS the same as HCP (healthcare provider)?
Yes, BLS has replaced the HCP (Healthcare Provider) course. BLS is a more accurate and up to date version of the HCP course. This is the correct course for in-facility care providers, including nursing staff, care aides, medical and dental professionals. AHS only accepts Heart & Stroke certification.
